Lord, Show Us The Way

A special period of prayer is taking place from Epiphany to Ash Wednesday 2025.

What does the future of our Diocese look like?

An introduction from the Bishop of Lincoln

Dear friends,

Since 2021, the Diocese of Lincoln has been on a journey of transformation through our change programme, Time to Change Together.

This has been an opportunity to reimagine how we work together to build a sustainable future—one that is collaborative, empowering, and rooted in the wisdom of local communities.

As we continue this journey, I invite you to join me in prayer, asking God for guidance and clarity as we seek to grow our Christian communities, reach those who have yet to experience His love, and nurture deeper relationships with Him.

1. Use the prayer resources below.

2. Log your reflections.

3. Feedback your reflections.

Main Resources

Prayer Card

A special prayer has been created as we unite our thoughts, words and actions towards seeking God’s will for the Diocese.

Heavenly Father,
we pray for your guidance.
Help us to see clearly the path you have prepared for us.
Give us a godly ambition and confident faith in your power to transform lives.
Lord, show us the way.
We ask in Jesus’ name and for his sake.
Amen

Feedback your reflections
