An introduction from the Bishop of Lincoln
Dear friends,
Since 2021, the Diocese of Lincoln has been on a journey of transformation through our change programme, Time to Change Together.
This has been an opportunity to reimagine how we work together to build a sustainable future—one that is collaborative, empowering, and rooted in the wisdom of local communities.
As we continue this journey, I invite you to join me in prayer, asking God for guidance and clarity as we seek to grow our Christian communities, reach those who have yet to experience His love, and nurture deeper relationships with Him.
In the weeks leading up to Ash Wednesday, we will be exploring the theme, ‘Lord, show us the way.’
Together, we will reflect on what it means to be a Church that listens to God’s call, responds with faith, and walks in His purpose.
To support this shared reflection, we’ve created a range of resources which are available on this page. These materials are designed to inspire prayer, conversation, and action in your local contexts.
Whether you are part of a congregation, a small group, or exploring on your own, these resources are there to guide and encourage you.
I warmly encourage you to engage with these tools and share your thoughts, ideas, and experiences. Together, let’s seek God’s direction and discover how He is calling us to grow and serve in new and exciting ways.
May God bless you richly as we walk this path together.
With prayers and every blessing,
+Stephen
