This is an exciting time to be part of a transformation vision for the diocese, as we look at unique ways to equip churches so that they can be the thriving bastions of faith, hope and love that our communities seek.

Focal Ministers are an everyday presence and focus of ministry within their local church and community. As a pillar of practical leadership, they strengthen and uphold our ability to be who we are called to be, bringing out the very best in all our activities and actions for Christ.
We’re ready to welcome more Focal Ministry candidates for training early next year.
If you are someone who is interested in becoming a Focal Minister, please contact the Oversight Minister for your church in the first instance who will then prayerfully consider next steps.
If you are an Oversight Ministers (or those who have responsibility to nominate a candidate), you can access the nomination form by going to the ‘Focal Ministry Resources for Clergy’ page.
There are some other considerations to take as a candidate is nominate, so please read the resources carefully and prayerfully.
